Hi all -- I'm late on posting my Dia De Los Muertos entry due to technical problems with my PC. But here's an altered frame honoring both my Mom and Dad. A candle lit inside this triangular frame will finish it with a nice glow. Hope you like it. Below is my Show and Tell Sunday entry. I'm new at this and hope you forgive the double entry and lateness.
My love for paper and vintage has been evolving into this collection, although a very young collection. I can't seem to get enough of it, especially the most precious vintage children's photos.

A beautiful tribute to your Mom and Dad.
Great idea to frame and then illuminate them with a candle. You can set it anywhere and always have them near you.
I love the candle behind! Made them seem ethereal and transcendental...
great tribute frame! I love it!
Wonderful tribute, and a great collection of vintage photos.
Saludos to you and your familia,

I like the illumination of the candles on the picture. Thx so much. Wonderful tribute.

Hello, I love the photo's, great blog. Thanks for your comment - Homepride Fred started in 1965, it was an ad for a flour company. It's very British & is well loved by everyone.
I'll come back to visit you soon :)
Hello! I can see we collect a lot of the same things:o) Your photos and postcards are darling- love the Christmas card.

I'm right there with you on the paper love. I have more and more boxes labeled "ephemera", "paper this and paper that". It's crazy. I can't seem to ever have too much paper.
Thanks for joining us in sharing your collection!!
Also, congrats on the scrapbooking.com press!!

Nelly, your altered frame is an amazing way to honor your parents--I love the triangle shape and I can only imagine how beautiful a lighted candle brings it to life! Very nice!
That's fine that you were late putting up your Dia de BLoglandia post because, well, obviously I'm late arriving for the celebration! Are those regular photos backlit or some sort of transluscent photo copy? It's a wonderful idea.
what a yummy collection!
